Getafe climbing wall (ESP)
Getafe is a city in the southern zone of the Madrid metropolitan area and one of the most populated and industrialized cities in the municipality.
Located southwest of Madrid, Getafe happens to be physically located in the center of the Iberian Peninsula..
And right here at the geographical center of Spain Top30 has developed a quite an interesting project consisting of a combined lead wall and boulder. The climbing wall itself is 13 meters wide and has a height of 9 meters resulting in a climbable surface of about 150 m2. The boulder extending on one side and being an integral part of the installation is 15 meters wide and 3,2 m high adding 70 m2 of climbing surface, so all in all an impressive 220 sq. meters. All and everything is made using our 3D Real Rock panels and highly approved by the local climbing community now being able to enjoy a unique space for both roped up climbing and bouldering.
To make the project complete, the City of Getafe designed a transparent roof and side walls making it possible to practice climbing 365 days a year.
