Pink rules!

While some people upgrade with soulless designer furniture, some "crazy" dudes transform the living room into a playground for the kids.

A few months ago we received a somewhat unusual request for pink panels. And if that wasn´t enough, the panels were to be placed in an apartment block with a view.....west of Oslo. So while the majority seems to be replacing the relatively new sofa quite frequently and redecorating according to the latest fashion trends copied from glossy interior magazines, mom & dad have stood up to the silly poshness and converted the living room into a small "climbing centre" for their little girl and her friends from kindergarten and neighbourhood.
So TV, DS and Playstation are bartered and out while moves are in, which has resulted in a distinctive improvement in motoric skills for the kids.
And as there are fixed some fat holds in the roof, the small wall is also in use by some of the more playful parents. The initiative (or weird idea) has at least created a certain amount of interest and curiosity but it remains to be seen if private, pink climbing walls will effusively catch on.
