Espiel is a city located in the province of Córdoba. According to the latest census, the city has a population of 2422 inhabitants.
Close to Espiel there is excellent climbing areas, which is promoted by the municipality and consequently the city itself could not look itself in the mirror without having proper (artificial) climbing facilities. Eventually Espiel turned to Top30 and ordered a 3D Real Rock installation. In addition to a lead climbing section there was a profound craving for an integrated bouldering section as well. To finish it ll off in style, we built a colourful children's wall. The climbing wall itself has a height of 8 meters and a width of 4. The boulder part has a width/length of no less than 15 meters and the usual height of 3,10 m. The vertical wall for the kids has a width of 4,5 meters and a height of 2,40. All together it sums up to a climbable surface of 115 m2, which will undoubtedly provide challenges and fun for the local climbers.
To create routes and problems, Top30 has picked more than 1000 holds, added a couple of fingerboards, a campus board and delivered climbing gear to the municipal climbing school.
The initiative will surely secure recruitment and provide activity and fun for the inhabitants and offer training possibilities for visitors as well as the opportunity to change scenery on a rainy day.
